Is Steel Bite Pro a Scam?

Steel Bite Pro is a dental supplement that makes some pretty bold claims regarding oral health. Invented by a man named Thomas Spear, Steel Bite Pro is marketed as a one-stop solution for stopping tooth decay, killing off harmful oral bacteria, and leaving you with gums of steel. But is Steel Bite Pro legitimate or just one more overhyped scam? Let’s delve in and take a closer look.

Steel Bite Pro’s Claims

Among the first things that may strike you upon visiting the official Steel Bite Pro website is that it looks like the voice-to-text dialogue from a late-night infomercial. First, Mr. Spear introduces himself and his passion for helping America achieve better oral health. On the site’s story page, he even shares the terrifying tale of how a wayward tooth nearly claimed his life one night as he slept.

The site goes on (and on) to explain that, while oral hygiene is great, Steel Bite Pro has unlocked the secret to escaping thousands of dollars’ worth of future dental work. How? By preventing everything from oral infections and tooth decay to bad breath and weak gums. If you’ve got a mouth-related problem, Steel Bite Pro probably promises it can solve it.

You’ll also find plenty of user reviews from folks claiming that the product has restored their ability to chew with confidence or quit painkillers once and for all. According to Spear, these are but a few of his 57,000 overly enthusiastic customers.

What’s in Steel Bite Pro?

Steel Bite Pro appears to be made of all-natural ingredients. A chemistry teacher for several years, Spear claims that he concocted the product from the perfect blend of 23 plants, herbs, minerals, and vitamins. Among them, you’ll find things like zinc, milk thistle, ginger, beetroot, and artichoke leaves. Some of Steel Bite Pro’s ingredients, such as berberine, might be a tad more exotic. But for the most part, they tend to be fairly common supplements you’d find in other multivitamins.

If you’re interested in reading more, Steel Bite Pro’s site includes a very long explanation of how the combination supposedly works to make your mouth cleaner. If you’re more interested in the bottom line, however, the claim seems to be that the supplements combine to turn your saliva into a natural antibiotic.

Is Steel Bite Pro a Scam?

While the Steel Bite Pro site isn’t shy about making promises, you’re going to have to take Mr. Spear’s word for most of them. A cursory glance at the website may direct your eyes to words like “FDA approved” and “GMP certified,” but look a bit closer. The actual quote reads, “Every capsule is manufactured in the USA, in our FDA approved and GMP certified facility…”

So while the supplements themselves don’t appear to have passed any standards, you can at least rest assured that the building they’re made in has. On the other hand, it’s not uncommon for supplements to lack FDA approval. This is because the FDA considers them food rather than medical products.

At the end of the day, the important thing to understand is that Steel Bite Pro remains largely unvetted, as with many nutritional supplements. While they appear to be harmless, it’s unlikely that they’re the wonder drug they claim to be, either. Before you jump in, you may want to check out some of the complaints filed with the BBB. A few of them suggest that the guarantee may not be quite as easy to take advantage of as it claims.

Will the Real Steel Bite Pro Please Stand Up?

One of the shadier aspects of Steel Bite Pro is that it appears to have inspired a huge array of knock-off websites, many of which flash multiple scam signals. According to Spear, SteelBitePro.com is the only place to purchase the authentic product.

As a quick Google search will reveal, however, that hasn’t stopped an alarming number of other sites from claiming to offer the product. This includes a huge array of sellers on Amazon, many of whom offer Steel Bite Pro in packaging that seems to have been manufactured by various companies.

Are they all knock-offs? Or did Mr. Spear simply forget to mention that he’s recently partnered with a wide range of new sellers? These questions remain disturbingly unclear. Additionally, the prices you’ll find on Amazon tend to vary widely across the board, as do the customer reviews. It’s important to be extremely cautious in purchasing this product, and you may want to avoid buying it from the non-official site.

The Final Verdict

Is Steel Bite Pro a scam? While we can’t say that it is for sure, we can’t guarantee that it isn’t. For now, the answer still lies largely with consumers adventurous enough to have actually tried the product.

Before taking the leap and testing driving Steel Bite Pro for yourself, it’s important to talk to your dentist about any tooth or gum issues you may be experiencing. Wonder supplement aside, the importance of good oral hygiene can’t be overstated, nor can the advice of a dental professional who deals with it for a living. While it can’t hurt to give supplements a shot, they should never substitute for the advice of a medical professional.
